At TAPPI’s recent Student Summit (tappistudentsummit.org) we asked a few of the industry professionals involved in the Summit’s annual Career Fair two critical questions.

When I look at the pulp and paper industry I see a common thread: all of the support, opportunities, and flexibility it offers young professionals—including working mothers and diverse colleagues from a variety of engineering backgrounds—makes it a great sector to work in, now and into the future.  

The use of APS tools creates a disciplined approach and a better way of thinking about problems by creating a common mill language.

The benefits of digitalization are meaningless unless our talent has a deep knowledge and understanding of the pulp and paper industry’s complex process interactions.
